so my recent posts have been more rural than urban, and while it seems like that's ok figured i should interject a city shot. this is more clean than noisy, but will be digging into the grittier stuff hopefully in the near future.

Seattle, waiting for a bus to take us to a park, i looked up and saw this scene.

The text on the bottom right is driving me nuts.
I see:

??????? OF THE HUMAN SPIRIT
????SE ON THIS PLANET
?????N SOME LIVING FORM
?? ????????Y AND SUSTAIN IT
??????? EXPRESSIVE MEANING

????????ND

"So long as the human spirit
thrives on this planet,
music in some living form
will accompany and sustain it
and give it expressive meaning."

Aaron Copland

Wow, was I ever far off at deciphering some of this...

EvilGentleman: I'm surprised you could read any of it, actually. That wall just added an extra angle for me, I wasn't even thinking about the text...

I believe that's the flank of Benaroya Hall, home of the Seattle Symphony.

no worries, my images of my city would appear to be rural to big city dwellers - but it's all good - everyone is friendly folk and enjoys seeing everyone elses view of their cities.

EvilGentleman: 9th Aug 2006 - 01:09 GMT

And my arctic photos are so remote, that even rural does not work to describe them.

aer: I figured as much. Thanks.
