The Cameras of Citynoise
[previous] :: [next]i thought it might be interesting for everyone to post a photo of their camera - after all, without them, what would citynoise be? a little tribute to our other eyes sorta thing...
^here's my clunker - a sony dsc-p73 4.1 mexapixels cybershot. as taken with my back up camera - my nokia 6265i 2 megapixels cameraphone.
one day i hope to upgrade to something much, much better...but for now, it'll have to do...*hangs head in sorrow* This article has been viewed 3893 times in the last 60 months joey: 8th Aug 2006 - 01:03 GMTi also have the sony digital still camera. the same model p73 as pictured above. Chiamattt: 8th Aug 2006 - 07:18 GMT

little ukraine: 8th Aug 2006 - 21:19 GMTglad to see the PowerShots are popular.. I've had the S200 for four years and I love it. jeeff: 8th Aug 2006 - 22:28 GMT
i caught my sony dsc-p100 taking this sexy self-portrait in the washroom yesterday. the camera was mortified. EvilGentleman: 9th Aug 2006 - 04:27 GMT
Kodak DC280 2MP Fuji FinePix A330 3MP Mustek MDC 3500 3MP Audiovox CDM-8910BM cameraphone, unknown but very low resolution, maybe 1MP.
Fuji FinePix E510 5MP benji: 9th Aug 2006 - 11:08 GMT
chiamattt: 9th Aug 2006 - 13:27 GMTEvil, if the A330 is better...well I know how it is. I have an HP digi that my mom got free with an HP printer and its better MP than my D1, but to be honest, I hate it. The way it feels in my hand is ubercrap. You got pretty in-depth with your camera thing. I feel as though you should have been the one to start this thread. From ksedges post I just thought I should be a bit more short. heh *best friendly biatch* (and I mean it in a *best friendly* kind of way)
Picture of me at the FTAA demonstration in Quebec City. EvilGentleman: 9th Aug 2006 - 18:21 GMTI do tend to be a bit verbose, don't I? Mind you, I'm me, and no matter who posts, I'll still be myself. I'm glad ksedge thought to post this article, and I appreciate your compliments, chiamattt. Chris Erb: 12th Aug 2006 - 00:13 GMTbenji you bastard! You have your dream camera in your hands! I finally found my camera's user manual and found it has a bunch of features I didn't know it had. One of those features is the ability to turn off the flash, thus, I can now take a picture of my camera in a mirror. I always thought my camera was to blame for the shittiness of the photographs it produces. I am now learning that it may not have been the camera at all; just the fact that I have no idea how to use it! zagg: 12th Aug 2006 - 00:15 GMTI have the same camera as Benji --- just you can't really tell from my photo --- same casing and everything :D Chris Erb: 12th Aug 2006 - 00:24 GMTYou're both bastards! *Shakes fist at crappy Vivatar for not being a Cannon Digital Rebel* zagg: 12th Aug 2006 - 00:28 GMTI saved and spent all my monies, what can I say!?! And as mentioned previously before --- before I bought this camera in feb, I'd been using the same canon a40 for 4 years ;/ Chris Erb: 12th Aug 2006 - 00:32 GMTI've had my Vivatar for about 4 years. it cost about 300 dollars at Zellars. it's an ok camera but doesn't have much for features, has a crappy zoom, has a pitiful memory, and terrible delay (takes about 3 seconds to take a picture and then makes me wait about 10 seconds between photos). it also doesn't take nighttime shots at all. It's definitely time for an upgrade but money is a very big issue right now. zagg: 12th Aug 2006 - 00:40 GMTI think I spent 499 for my Canon a40 back in 2002. I understand your pain of your old camera --- I don't suffer from troubles anymore... but i do feel your pain--- sucka! :) benji: 13th Aug 2006 - 12:54 GMTyeah bam, i wish i could say i saved for mine but i put it on credit (eeep... i better not lose my job...) but for anyone looking for a new cam, i'd definitly reccomend the eos, image quality is super rad, controls are intuitive and ergonomically convenient, and lots of lenses avail for canon :D :D Tyfoid Kid: 13th Aug 2006 - 16:42 GMTMy tried and true Fuji S7000
and the new guy, just bought it Friday. Still getting used to it (the flash is very HARSH) but having a camera I can put in my pocket that still shoots 6 Mp and is somewhat water resistant will be a nice thing to have.
Hawkeye: 28th Dec 2006 - 04:16 GMTwhat is this? I'll show you mine if you show me yours dude its not the camera but the artist behind it that counts EvilGentleman: 11th Jun 2007 - 03:39 GMTHawkeye, your point has validity, but without this post, we would know so less about each other. For example, Catherine's fondness of "Hello, Kitty" (Oh, wait... Catherine = Cat... I get it now), Benji's full head of unruly hair, jeeff's bathroom mirror with the baby-blue frame, zagg's cute face, chiamatt's posture when ready to shoot and/or run in the same second, or the back of the Rand McNally road atlas that I used to block my monitor and all the associated scan line issues. CE: 12th Jun 2007 - 06:50 GMTMy new camera is the same as groovehouse's except mine's a 900. Good little camera. My old Vivatar as pictured above disappeared a couple weeks after I gave it to my ex girlfriend in a bar in Kensington Market. Catherine Penfold-Waxman: 12th Jun 2007 - 17:42 GMTNot only do I love Hello Kitty, it's actually my camera case. EvilGentleman: 12th Jun 2007 - 22:22 GMTChiamattt, you actually found a Hello Kitty item in Seoul? Wow, what are the odds? That's about as rare as Barbie stuff in Los Angeles, or poutine in Montreal. Hehehehehehehe :P Double NYAH!! (and an EvilGrin®)
