Bondi Beach at sunset.... very cool. This article has been viewed 1880 times in the last 2 years tomig: 14th Oct 2006 - 23:04 GMTok.. as famous as bondi is, being austrlia's most popular beach and msot central beach... why do so many people assume that its actually a GOOD beach? i got a lotta mates who live there and they all surf at Tama or brontie and other spots.. n they all think bondi is a joke or a surf. everytime i have happened to be ther.. being from south syd im a cronulla surfer.. everytime i hav seen bondi its been shite, small as usually n one time massive n just closeouts everywhere.. everytime i have been the lineup is jsut backpackers n rich idiots with 800 buck boards n no idea. sure it may be an iconic australian spot n im not denying it its culture.. but the whole culture is based around surf, and there jsut isnt that much good surf at bondi! i dont mind bondi itself tho. good bars n stuff.. anyhow.. someone provide me with evidence of GOOD surf at bondi recently... tomig Misawa: 9th Apr 2007 - 00:25 GMTJhymie Two Hats, the Birdman of Bondi should be allowed to live in peace on his cliff-side perch. Save the Caveman of Bondi Beach. Laguna Beach rules! Comment on this article..[previous] :: [next] |
