Ancient Kingdom of Macedon.
[previous] :: [next]Toto, I've got a feeling we're not in Canada anymore. Just outside of Bitola, the 2nd largest city in the country of Macedonia there lays the uncovered remains of Heraclea Lyncestis, a town which had been founded by Philip II of Macedon, father of Alexander the Great. Goats amsuse me, sheep amuse me --- buildings from the BC period, REALLY amuse me - especially when they include a lion pit attached to a theatre -- that always is good fun for all.
