On the corner of and , there is a tapas bar called Beast... it has "", an old typewriter with which to write drunken poetry and tons of boardgames to keep you occupied.

Though I can't vouch for their food, their sangria is good, and their bartenders are cute...

I think it's fair to say it's actually BETTER than good. It's delicious - one of the best meals I've had in Brooklyn yet. They were also awarded one of the "best new restaurants in Brooklyn" Time Out Awards, so I'm not alone in the praise. Oh, and the barstaff are very friendly. This used to be lavell's bar in the 50's 60' Wow has it changed.
