the new vegas. is this what vegas is all about? is this family friendly? i know it's adult friendly. free porn magazines on every corner. so people now go there not only to gamble but for (bleep) also. when women gained their rights and equality, and burned their bras, america lost something. womenhood lost something. my opinion is that women became more of a sex object than ever before. men were turned on at every street and every train. i'm not a prude, i like women and i enjoy looking at pretty girls but i feel the increase in sex crimes is due to the immoral dress that women are in to. so when a guy with a sex problem is walking down the strip in vegas, he is going to see that sign and get turned on to do something else, instead of a man's normal reaction.

sex sells in vegas- literally- cause prostitution is legal there...

so you think sex crimes happen because women dress immorally? hmm, im not so sure about that. but nice photo!

jack: 23rd May 2006 - 21:15 GMT

i think its a motivator for some men with sex problems. i never generalize, i feel certain occurences stimulate certain people and that sign is a big stimulater.

chiamattt: 23rd May 2006 - 22:26 GMT

prostitution is not legal in Las Vegas. You have to leave the city and use a state sanctioned brothel.

Perhaps the sex crime rate has not actually gone up. Maybe it's just reported more because women are empowered and aren't afraid to report the crime because they know the system will actually try and help them nowadays.

Sex is definately more prevelant in advertising in N.America, but the actual industry of sex is much more prevelant in Seoul than it is in Toronto, that is for sure.

i think its true that whenever you gain something you lose something else. but in the case of vegas, hasn't it always been a 'den of sin'? i never thought that classic vegas was such a big family place. ironically the new breed of mega-casino/resorts seems more sanitized and family-friendly to me.

Matt, thanks for posting that up. I read them all. Pretty accurate, but not totally true.

real spit to the author who wrote this article....

i used to live in las vegas...in fact i resided about a block away from the strip itself near warm springs. I feel as though vegas taught me very well about lack of self esteem among most women, poor standards among women, and above all, no respect for women at all.

immortal technique said it the best " if you cant respect yourself, dont expect respect from anyone else."

with that being said, i dont know about all the hoopla about that sign, but if women cant get a better standard amongst themselves and stop crying about how fucked up life is, then the cycle will in certainty perpetuate itself. These broads will forever be raped, they will always be taken advantage of, and nobody will care less about them.

alot of it has to do also with what the media dictates to us as a way of life.

i rememeber back in the day, i used to love gawking at the hoochies all made up and dressed to kill, but see back then " and when i say back then im talking at least in 98" women had a certain class about them, and it wasnt a common thing as it is now to see women in fucking lingere at clubs wondering why men wont stop touching them or imposing themselves upon them.

bottom line is, you look like a whore, people will treat you like one.

and when i first joined the military, i learned that appearance is reality. if she dresses like a whore, walks like a whore, talks like a whore, and looks like a whore, chances are she probably is a fuckin whore.

bottom line, fucking respect your goddamn selves and none of that shit will take place.

I agree with you Jack. America is rich materialistically but very poor spiritually. Sounds philosopical.....
The answer to therising problems(also sexual) is to create a spiritual awareness.
Women should realise that here, they are only looked upon as sex objects and hence should not be proud of it.

I appeal all the women in this greta city to regain their diginity.
