Plateau Houses
Browsing articles by CE - [previous] :: [next]Here are some pictures of residental streets in the Plateau borough of Montreal. These pictures were all taken a couple weeks ago on my first trip to Montreal. The Plateau has some of the most beautiful houses I've ever seen. Most of these are residental streets just off of Blvd Mont-Royal (#3 is closer to downtown and #8 is in Mile End). One thing I found to be quite interesting is that on one side of Blvd Mont-Royal, the houses seemed to all be three story walk up apartment buildings with beautiful staircases. The other side, the houses were smaller, single or double family houses without the stairs. You can see the difference in these pictures. I'm curious if there was a class devide or if it's based on age of the houses.
