jack: 22nd May 2006 - 01:06 GMTfanny, my fanny. panese marries fanny because she is pregnant with marius' baby. marius returns home a lonely sailor and tries to win back fanny but his father stands between them and they in tears mutter their love for each other. marius leaves and returns in six years to work in a garage in the shadow of fanny, the baby and panese. the boy visits him at the garage and invites him (not knowing he is inviting his real father) to his birthday party. panese becomes sick and before he dies asks his wife to marry the man she has always loved. panese leaves this planet, marius is having fun with his son and the camera pans out to a sad but happy ending. a sad but happy ending! what did i say? that was for all the girls at citinoise.
