Browsing articles by CE - [previous] :: [next]I was cleaning up some of my old pictures folders and came across this. It's a picture of downtown in my old home town of Sussex. I think I got the picture from the Sussex website.
I hated Sussex, absolutely despised it. I couldn't wait for the day to come that I could leave and was infinitely happy when that day came. I made this little picture somewhat out of bordom and somewhat out of wishful thinking. It would have made me so happy if this green blob had have actually fallen from the sky and destroyed the town. Now that I'm older and have lived out of Sussex for a couple years, I no longer wish the same fate on the little town where I was born and raised. I still would never want to live there again but I do enjoy going back once and awhile to visit (and poke fun at it and it's inhabitants [am I a snob? Absolutely]). Chris Erb: 22nd May 2006 - 15:24 GMTSussex is a weird place. I could tell you a story about every one of those buildings. Ironically enough, one of the buildings on fire in this picture actually did burn to the ground a couple months ago. Here are some pictures I got off the website. I'm going to Sussex sometime soon to visit so I'll do a good series on the town when I get back.
