Post a Picture of Directly Outside Your Window
Browsing articles by CE - [previous] :: [next]Ok, this article is for pictures of outside the closest window to you right now. Please include the city you're in. These two pictures are from the two windows directly in front on my computer. They're a couple weeks old so it's bit greener than this now but everything else is the same.

Michelle: 28th Apr 2006 - 19:00 GMTHere's what I see looking out my windows onto my Toronto neighborhood... So I start out by looking out my bedroom window onto my front street. Our maple tree is just about to break out its leaves. And now my backyard. Luckily there was a bird waiting for his picture to be taken, sitting in the apple tree!
EvilGentleman: 29th Apr 2006 - 16:33 GMTIs there much converted military housing in your area, Chris? those cloned buildings across the street have an old military air to them. jeeff: 29th Apr 2006 - 17:25 GMTthe photos in my entry were posted at various seasons. none in the springtime yet tho. Chris Erb: 30th Apr 2006 - 02:54 GMTThe townhouses next door were actually designed by my landlord. There are a bunch more to the right and behind and are about 10 years old. It's actually not a bad development for this area and if I had have gotten more of the houses in my picture you would be able to see some more diversity in the design. They actually fit in with the neighbourhood pretty well. All the houses around here are detached but these at least have wood siding and long narrow windows. They're not as good as what my landlord wanted as the developer changed the designs a bit but they're still quite good. The land they're sitting on used to be railroad tracks that were torn out in the 70's. On the other side of the intersection is a walking trail which is what was done with most of the land where the railroad used to go through Fredericton. The city actually has over 80 KMs of walking trails which is pretty good considering the size of the city. Chris Erb: 30th Apr 2006 - 02:56 GMTSomeday I'll do an Ormocto series which is a neat place. it's a military suburb near Fredericton and was one of the first planned towns in Canada. It was all done by the CHMA and was a constant experiment for thim. there are all kinds of interesting housing types and is a very surreal place. Peter: 22nd Feb 2007 - 14:38 GMT
that orange thing in the middle is a slumpy windsock from the heliport across the way. Catherine Penfold-Waxman: 26th Feb 2007 - 14:51 GMT
