how about this....her hand is close to mine. i've waited three days to be near her and now her hand is next to mine. what should i say? she is so beautiful, maybe she'll laugh me off or just turn away, then what? i'm lost forever, it has to be a great one liner, something catchy and intelligent. she is so beautiful, i wonder where she works, has to be near where i work. (the train makes a jerky movement and all the passengers are jolted),
beautiful girl: oops, sorry bout that.
hopeful guy: oh thats ok, those things happen when your hanging around with someone. (silent gulp).
beautiful girl: LOL (but not too loud, kinda intelligent girl giggle type of laugh) i guess we are hanging out here.
hopeful guy: you must work in the wall street area.
beautiful girl: yes, at 1520 broadway.
hopeful guy: wow, thats where i work, im on the 14th floor.

and so our couple, sneaking glimpses at each other, continue talking and agree to meet the next day for lunch.

by the way whem i was courting my wife i met with her father and he sat me down with a scotch and said,"i guess your here to ask for my daughters hand in marriage", and my reply was,"i was hoping for more than that".
