Peter: 7th Apr 2006 - 13:33 GMTmy commute would be about 1000x better if it involved such colorful stations... drea: 7th Apr 2006 - 15:34 GMT
This is me and 2 of my friends at a montreal metro station. I think it was the Place Des Beaux-Arts station. Not sure. It's gorgeous, that's all I can say. If only Toronto subway stations were like these. jack: 7th Apr 2006 - 15:40 GMTnah, you would miss the black and white and grime of the city. you would miss the vally's and canyons of steel and glass, the multitude, the lost, the happy, the tired, give me your poor and wretched, your workers, the endless monotony of commuting and rushing for trains, planes and automobiles. the crowed subways, the aroma of bakeries, the exotic smell of a women wearing a perfume and the non-exotic smell of a derelict sprawled out on a seat next to you. forgetaboutit, give me montreal. Tamara: 7th Apr 2006 - 16:00 GMTIf only it didn't snow so much in Montreal during the winter... I'd live there in a heartbeat. Maybe it's the socialist in me, but the social system in Quebec is ahead of ours here in Ontario... must be left over from the French. EvilGentleman: 7th Apr 2006 - 17:20 GMTMatt McLauchlin is famnatical about the Montreal Metro system. Here is his website www.metrodemontreal.com/index-e.html EvilGentleman: 7th Apr 2006 - 17:32 GMTAnd for you Torontonians, try this: transit.toronto.on.ca/index.shtml Chris Erb: 4th Jul 2006 - 16:13 GMTThank you! I was on the TTCrider.ca website and wanted desperately to find something similar to it for Montreal. This is great! Comment on this article..[previous] :: [next] |
