I went into the anal surgery clinic during a doctor hopping mission. The doctor was really...errr up tight about filling it out so I left and went to a snoring clinic. They were more than happy to help. BOH! BOH! BOH!

great photos, but why are some people wearing face masks, i see that more and more these days? in the surgery hospital there are they backed up with patients, can they keep their heads up. what do you think?

Face masks are worn to keep dust out of your mouth and nose. The air is pretty dirty here. There are yellow dust storms from the Gobi Desert that hit this place every spring or so, and a lot of Korean restaurants still use coal to cook food. Scooters are everywhere. Cars are everywhere. There are very few outdoor patios due to the dustiness of this city. I smoke like a chimney so I don't really notice, but young children and old people wear masks a lot. A lot of foreigners who come here from small clean air cities get pneumonia. Face masks are 50 cents at a corner store of pharmacy.

my mom lived in seoul for years in the 70s... shes had a chronic case of pneumonia that strikes every winter, and the doctors say it most likely stems from the wear-and-tear her lungs took during those years in korea.

i think thats why they wear the masks.
