- elaine - Monday, March 20th, 2006 : goo

i could see this tree had nice holes from a distance, and as i got closer it's trunk was interesting as well.

then i noticed something in one of the holes... fungii? chewing gum?

image 9719

no. this tree is a great big bowl for popcorn. matches the trunk nicely, i think.

last one looks though it could be an elephant crevice of some sort after a trip to the cinema

elaine: 20th Mar 2006 - 14:41 GMT

yes, it did have elephant like skin on it's trunk. perhaps it is a metaphor tree.

Peter: 20th Mar 2006 - 14:45 GMT

He is as light as popcorn. He is 6'2", 150 pounds in his jeans soaking wet and can fit in a tree crack!

elaine: 21st Mar 2006 - 10:40 GMT

hahaha! grrreat!
when i was little i wasn't allowed chewing gum. my uncles used to talke me to the park when they came to visit, and they gave me chewing gum. in order to maintain the illusion of the keeping of the no chewing gum rule we always de-gummed as we left the park, and we put the gum onto a tree which became the chewing gum tree.
then they would take me to the pub.
i think this bit was allowed.
