the problem here is that no politicians ride the subways there. if they did the city would repair and clean it up to show how their tax dollars are at work.. our tax dollars are going into their paychecks and not into the stations.

Robberies in Montreal's subway system are somewhat rare, but a federal cabinet minister got robbed on a subway station platform here a few months ago.

Seriously... there has to be a number of artists out there who would do tile work pro bono just to have their work part of the NYC Subway.

It's not just Brooklyn, either. Look at the Chambers Street JMZ.
