Looks like the Bergen Street 2/3 station could use a little repair to its wall-tiling! This article has been viewed 3564 times in the last 2 years jack: 14th Mar 2006 - 16:33 GMTthe problem here is that no politicians ride the subways there. if they did the city would repair and clean it up to show how their tax dollars are at work.. our tax dollars are going into their paychecks and not into the stations. Peter: 14th Mar 2006 - 16:35 GMTthe MTA is bureaucracy at its finest (worst?)! soaking up maximum funds whilst giving minimal services. i bet there are people on the MTA control board that have never even ridden public trans in nyc... EvilGentleman: 14th Mar 2006 - 16:51 GMTRobberies in Montreal's subway system are somewhat rare, but a federal cabinet minister got robbed on a subway station platform here a few months ago. GGP: 14th Mar 2006 - 17:54 GMToh, that wall's done up that way on purpose--a new look called "distressed walling"--a joint effort with the Gap, which sells jeans with huge hole for extra! anon (c234-107.syr-twc.ny.localnet.com): 15th Mar 2006 - 03:08 GMTSeriously... there has to be a number of artists out there who would do tile work pro bono just to have their work part of the NYC Subway. It's not just Brooklyn, either. Look at the Chambers Street JMZ.
vz: 19th Mar 2006 - 06:00 GMTi don't know, i'm thinking maybe they should look like this http://www.metro.ru/stations/arbatsko-pokrovskaya/arbatskaya/ (or this http://www.metro.ru/stations/koltsevaya/kievskaya/ or this http://www.metro.ru/stations/arbatsko-pokrovskaya/kievskaya/ ... ) when the capital is also the largest city, and the national leader has a fascination with underground bunkers, you do end up with some interesting fringe benefits. The Solecist: 20th Mar 2006 - 19:34 GMTArt from ruin. Concept work... see the face in the original...?
Peter: 30th Mar 2006 - 00:02 GMTlol!! www.curbed.com/archives/2006/03/29/maybe_its_there_to_scare_the_rodents_away.php Elicar: 30th Mar 2006 - 02:34 GMTLet's make it prettier further...
