There Be Dragons
[previous] :: [next]Part of a lovely fence on Central Park West and about 77th street. This article has been viewed 2609 times in the last 2 years GGP: 14th Mar 2006 - 14:40 GMTI know that fence well--I wonder if that might be Poseidon and sea monsters--in any event, I love this and I'm glad you got it on here. Catherine Penfold-Waxman: 15th Mar 2006 - 03:50 GMTThanks for the clarification, Peter. My brother is in town and I've spent the last four days 'doing New York.' I'm very nearly dead. I'm going to have to tell you about the scene I witnessed while waiting for half-priced tickets, because my camera couldn't focus fast enough: across the street I noticed about 12 guys dressed as Guy Fawkes, AKA V for Vendetta. They were huddled around a bloke outside the Blue Fin Grill, with snooty diners peering down their crusted tuna at them. A kid came by and one V turned round and went 'boo', and the kid nearly peed himself. Very funny. My picture was just too blurred to show.
