Graf Bus of Compassion

- EvilGentleman - Friday, March 10th, 2006 : goo

I saw this bus parked in the heart of the city's red light district the other night.

It appears to be a mobile soup kitchen, as there were homeless people lined up by the door at the front of the bus, eating some food. The staff working on the bus did not seem to like my presence at first, but once I explained that I was interested in photographing the graffiti, not the clients, they were much more accepting of me. I made sure to show them the pictures, so they could verify that their clients' anonymity was preserved.

As a point of note, the front of the bus was parked where this building ends on the right. Pic taken from hool's Montreal article.
