for me?
thank you!
i shall expect him any day!
i think he would be happy at my house.

Elicar: 5th Mar 2006 - 20:25 GMT

You are welcome Elaine. I was reminded of thse pictures I took February 2005 when I saw the bear cub, fawns and deers. And then when I looked at it, stuck in my head!

I love the sign, "monkey," for those poor souls who might have difficulty ID'ing this critter.

EvilGentleman: 5th Mar 2006 - 21:10 GMT

Maybe the sign is for those Tagalog-speakers who are unfamiliar with the English word.

Elicar: 5th Mar 2006 - 22:23 GMT

You maybe surprised Evil, that most of the people there are more conversant in English than Tagalog. There are 120 languages and dialects in the Philippines. Although Tagalog is the official language, I believe, the most widely spoken is the dialect of the north, Ilocano. This 10 year old boy, our guide, was very conversant in English. It is a tourist area, flocked by Europeans every year, so it is for the locals' advantage to learn English.

Catherine Penfold-Waxman: 6th Mar 2006 - 14:16 GMT

I'd like a helper monkey to get me beer from my fridge. And to pass the blunt.

elaine: 6th Mar 2006 - 14:37 GMT

i want the tiny teddy bear as well, from up the tree. he would be happier at my house. he could play with the monkey and make me laugh and laugh.

Elicar: 6th Mar 2006 - 15:47 GMT

The monkey might drink all the beer and I am not sure how they are when having a hang over.

elaine: like a bear with a sore head?

Peter: 6th Mar 2006 - 16:34 GMT

a ed monkey would be even more fun :)

jack: 6th Mar 2006 - 17:58 GMT

i love the crystal clear and green waters. i want to jump in.

Down Home Charm

Well I was in Wolfville, this past week. I ate some great and took a great walk along the Bay of Fundy, at Halls Harbour. I enjoyed the beautiful scenery from a local 'look-off' and was quite taken...
