Wild Horses in the Distance

While driving through South Dakota in 1989, my friend Mike and I entered the Rosebud Lakota Nation and soon afterwards saw these wild horses at a watering hole on the plains. The pic was shot out the driver's window of a moving car, and I have no clue which one of us took the pic, since we were constantly taking turns either driving or using the cameras. I love the way the horses integrate with the rolling plain, and the clouds caught my eye as well. I hope you enjoy this, since it will be the first of many from my great tour of the west in 1989. I have to do some scanning before I can post Borders Part II. EvilGentleman: 5th Mar 2006 - 04:10 GMTJack, I'm a Mohawk Indian. I will tell him there is a good casino over by yonder river. Not my fault they got 10 thousand bouncers... jack: 5th Mar 2006 - 05:03 GMTevil my son-in-law was born and raised in south dakota and he lived on a reservation because his mon worked with people there. he is one big, tough guy and has a smoothness about him, a real mid-western guy. he has original paintings of an indian chief he knew there. very impressive.
