Hey you started it .lol
S : 4th Mar 2006 - 03:50 GMTI remember visiting that site during the "Doors Open" festival. This was before they restored the buildings. Judging by the photos, the restoration was a success. I remember one of the tour guides telling us that there was a lot of theft prior to the restoration. Some of the old vents from the roofs were stolen (aluminum). I guess somebody really needed the extra cash!. When I used to take the GO train to Union Station, I remember seeing some old antique trucks parked behind those old buildings. Does anybody know where they originally came from?. I'm an old car buff, and I was wondering if those vehicles were used by G & W. Elicar: 4th Mar 2006 - 22:21 GMTS, the Distillery District is really worth visiting if you are into the arts, culture and of course, entertainment. The Sandra Ainsley Gallery has some very interesting hand blown glass art. It's not in my price range, however! Average price is in mid-5 figures, and the most expensive one on this visit of mine is US $ 460,000.00 Comment on this article..Browsing articles by Elicar - [previous] :: [next] |
