I have always admired the tile mosaic at the Yonge and Sheppard Subway station, Sheppard line, the few times I have passed through.

Not sure why I don't know how to do the link thing...but anyway, there are some NYC subway mosaics I really enjoy. Delancey street on the F line, artist named Fay Ming has an orchard (Orchard Street) on the uptown side and--my favorite--fish (shad!) on the downtown...http://nycsubway.org/perl/show?30527
