cool - though it looks also a bit snotty, which makes me sniff in sympathy

GGP: 21st Feb 2006 - 17:55 GMT

ah yes, the high-and-mighty snotty brain...something we can do with less of, eh?

Myke: Dammit, I'm eating

elaine: er, sorry!

Peter: 21st Feb 2006 - 18:33 GMT

hahahaha. perfect description. that looks like an iced over sponge. wtf is it?

GGP: 21st Feb 2006 - 18:36 GMT

the beach yesterday was full of these--iced-over sponges washed ashore (numerous) and clam shells encased in sheets of ice (not so numerous). none of the other flotsam and jetsam had this ice-glaze; I assume it had something to do with release of moisture and cold temps. A fascinating phenomenon to be sure.

Peter: 21st Feb 2006 - 18:44 GMT

oh duh, i just saw the title. "ice-glazed sponge". heh. next time ill read the title first ;)

Tuol Sleng

Here are a few photos I took while I visited the Tuol Sleng Museum in Cambodia back in the summer of 2003. The pictures do not evoke what I felt while I was there. Read about the Museum on wiki en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tuol_Sleng_Museum full...
