A quaint little town! We toured the town in two hours, on foot!

Near Rigaud there is also a place where you can climb and zip along on pulleys between the trees called Arbraska www.arbraska.com. I was there on Sept 25, 2005, and I found it to be an interesting place, and my kids loved it.
Charlie Wilson, a member of the armed robbery gang that committed England's infamous "Great Train Robbery" in 1963 used Rigaud Mountain as his hideout until his capture in 1967.
That robbery netted £2.6 million. But the world record-holding robbery that Wilson was involved in was probably exceeded by a long shot in... Rigaud!
On Sept 7, 2005, a Securicor armoured car was robbed by a gang who escaped without a trace. While the amount stolen has not been made public, on September 23, 2005, Securicor offered a reward of up to $2 million dollars Canadian ($1.7M US) for information leading to the recovery of the money and the arrest and conviction of those responsible. How much money must be missing for them to offer a $2M reward?
Quite an interesting place, Rigaud.

It was not me, Evil! I was there in April 2005.

It is quite funny. We have a Learning Centre there and from time to time, we go for courses. (I am supposed to be there starting today, but thanks to some divine intervention, I was spared.) We have a very popular saying at work, "What happens in Rigaud, stays in Rigaud!" Hint: I have pictures drinking tequilla shooters and dancing on the table! At least I did not sing Karaoke!

nice photo of steeples and the moon in background. the title goes without saying for the photo of graveyard. those people once worked and toiled and let the days fly by and now none of them are complaining about taxes or anything. i often think about how we don't pay attention to our lives as each day clicks past us without a time out. we watch our parents and loved ones who made our lives for us when we could'nt make a life. we were greedy and took everything they gave us. now they're old and passing away. so look at the people you call family, remember they're faces and try to be nice to everyone. like i tell my kids, be nice to all the people as you go on your way up, because you will meet them again on your way down.
