a friend of mine once lived in manila, during the japanese invasion. he was a young boy of 12 and was a runner for the resistence and eventually got caught and beaten but survived.

my grandparents were also working with the guerillas, and it was during that time that they met. i'm headed to manila in 2007! your pictures make me anticipate the trip even more.

I was born in the Philippines. Go to nice small islands with beaches and watch the sunset..it's gorgeous! I suggest going to Boracay.
