wow... ive *gotta* see more! next time, use the flash so its lighter/crisper ;)

ian: 8th Feb 2006 - 22:28 GMT

When I first arrived in Rome and tried to hop on the subway, I was delighted to find out I came right in the middle of a 2 hour transit strike. Upon reaching the platform, I naturally reached for my camera, when an officer of the law began gesticulating wildly and informed me that photographing was not allowed. I took one anyway.

anyway, forgive my snarkyness - i too would love to see more (and clearer) shots of the subways, if you can brave the transit cops.

ian: 9th Feb 2006 - 07:17 GMT

jeeff: mine was blurry because I had not quite mastered the art of proper exposure in 2002 :)

pietro: 9th Feb 2006 - 08:58 GMT

yeah guys sorry about the photo, like ian said they wont allow you to take pictures in the subway.i didn't use flash cause i didn't want to call the officer's atention.and they just seem to be there all the time

Hi, I might in the near future have some shot you can take from my Blog (http://miglioraroma.blogspot.com) it's in Italian -sorry- but still I plan to fill it with pictures from the Roman subway, and other 'services'

Ciao!

Martina

Brooklyn Homeless

On the corner near the , this morning, a man had camped out for the day. Ironically, he chose to rest in the shade of the red-and-white clothing donation box.
