Sick Day
Browsing articles by JonoCono - [previous] :: [next]And so today leaves me at home fending off those unwanted germs so detrimental to my well-being that are intent on invading my personal space. I won't have it! A day of rest, one spent in peace without the stress and turmoil of normal days should do the trick. I'm sure I'll be reprimanded on Monday in some form or another for not actually speaking to a supervisor. Let me explain: There used to be something called an "attendance line" the way it worked was if you were going to be late, were sick etc... you would call the attendance line which was automated, state your name, supervisor, floor, team and it would be updated on an intranet site. Therefore all your supervisor had to do was check the webpage to see why someone wasn't there. Well that has all changed, apparently it facilitated too much abscence from work. Now you must (this is imperative) speak to a supervisor to announce why you won't be at work. However you would be hard pressed when you actually call in to get a supervisor. There used to be three, now they're down to two which is how it will remain as they're not replacing the other individual. So you're left having to leave a message, which personally I don't see a problem with. My opinion is no matter whether you leave a message, call an attendance line, or speak to a whole slew of management the fact remains that you're sick and staying at home! LeeTaeJae: 8th Feb 2006 - 03:26 GMTjack EvilGentleman: 4th Sep 2006 - 01:39 GMTjack, I ran the text above through Babel Fish and got this messed-up translation that I think is an apology for typing in Korean on a primarily English website, but since the person typing cannot write in English, that is the only means they have of expressing themselves. The babelfish-mutilated translation: The jack me it talks frankly and it does not know English. It is like that and it writes a zero once discouragement and regret is it means that like this writing which expresses an end comes out. Does not read this Korean alphabet of you is born but it cannot read English. To be like that and the regret use a zero once discouragement is it expresses an end it is an all like this Ung to have taciturn day. Again regret is end in the people where the once uses the site. sorry! ! ! Comment on this article..Browsing articles by JonoCono - [previous] :: [next] |
