For you Elaine.

elaine: 21st Jan 2006 - 10:51 GMT

thanks! those are great.

and yeah, mainly negative feelings about scotland, although i understand people liking it. it is beautiful, mainly, but it does do this kind of housing estate, and others, which tend to be out of town - keeping the poor out of sight - unlike london where estates are more mixed in.

barry: 21st Jan 2006 - 12:00 GMT

I lived in this housing estate 19 years. I was back there at xmas. The photo of the house here is a one off, some kid lived there. There are 110 houses.(Clue j).In N.Ireland most of the housing estates are in town and in like the last 7-8 years the housing Ex have been leting tham go. I got my home place for like 15.0000 seven years a go now if i were to sale it I would get 100.0000.The last two photos are not in a estate by the way.

elaine: 21st Jan 2006 - 13:01 GMT

these estates can be really nice, it depends on infrastructure and stuff. my mum lives in one which is nice, and she bought, too.
glad to hear that house is an anomoly, and that the interior shots are not of a piece.

how did you know i would like the last two pics?

barry: I no what some poeple like on CN.

Jamie: 21st Jan 2006 - 21:00 GMT

I dunno barry. I initially said carrowshee cause it reminded me of that place. Reminded me of grandma monaghans bungalow. As for jam pics is that the place in maguiresbridge? No i didn't work there. I worked at tempo manor then swiftsoft in ballinamallard.

I am looking for anyone who knows about Traanish Island, My grandmother may have come from there, is that possible are you anywhere near there?? Her name was Eileen Martin, then Eileen Owen when she married my grandfather.
