What a great day to be outside! I postponed my walk to the subway a bit and wandered down to take in some sunshine and lack-of-wind. Been trying to get a good shot of this guy for citynoise for some time, but always end up with a blurry shot. But now he's in the pink!

These s have graced shop windows since my childhood in NYC and they evoke a strange nostalgia whenever I see them. I think this is a great graphic; so staunch! I love the standing in the cloud mass and sword of lightning.

I have been meaning to capture this Buddhist-influenced for a long time as well. I'm very fond of this piece; it brightens my day everytime I see it.

I guess the clouds are always with us in this spectral world; I try to enjoy them.

I've looked at clouds...from probably more places now than Joni Mitchell would have thought of! Thanks, GGP. I'm in this neighborhood all the time, and this isn't stuff I've ever noticed! And this is what I love about citynoise...

I wandered lonely as a cloud, etc. Great a group of pictures. I love the themes that you can find in a relatively small area.

Outdoor chess players along Market Street in San Francisco. Several of the guys I played with who were either homeless or ex-cons claimed that all that free time had allowed them to master their strategies. Bets are almost always made...
