Oh, I just remembered you asked me to tell you what I think of the EOS 350D? I love it. The sensor seems to be really good, and I like the controls. The 18-55mm kit lens that comes with it isn't fantastic but it'll certainly do the job in the meantime.

jamie- what cam are you using? these surely arent pix, eh?

i hung out with a friend the past few nighs who is spending the year working in and is back here visiting for the holidays... she says snow like this is sort of a rarity for the area. interesting!

elaine: 1st Jan 2006 - 21:15 GMT

london has it's own weather. i fear leaving the micro climate, i don't have the clothes for it!

Jamie: 2nd Jan 2006 - 14:05 GMT

Thanks for the tip on the canon myke i'll start saving! Peter, i'm using a pentax optio 33lf at the moment. It's just a point and shoot camera but it has a "night mode" with which i make photos like these. I got the camera for free. What i really want is a digital slr. As for the snow, yeah it's pretty rare. Snow like this is a once yearly occurence in these parts. I get the impression it's snows much more heavy and frequently in your neck of the woods.

I totally love the clouds in the sky of the first photo. Most of the photos I take are usually of clouds, but I love the rest of it too, like these purply colours that you bring out.

My little mark on the streets of New York City to help the lost. I got a photo off this in the summer before it was made in to a flower pot. (Article.RANDOM NYC PHOTOS)
