New Bike

- ian - Sunday, November 27th, 2005 : goo

I don't really have a reason not to commute by ; it's close enough to actually if I feel like it.

So, I bought my first 'real' bike today.

It's hardly Peter's fixie trackbike, but it's a start.

aw. analog. i miss mine, not that i ever took it anywhere, too big. had it 20 years then stupidly lent it to someone. never a borrower nor a lender be, that's my new motto. that and 'outside of a dog, a book is man's best friend, and inside of a dog it's too dark to read. that's groucho marx, that is

Congrats on the new bike. I love the orange hues in perfect contrast to the steely blue bike. Do you live by a nuclear power plant or was the colour just lucky happenstance?

a bike is the best way imho to get into shape, when i first started years ago i dropped 40 lbs and was amazed at how strong my legs had gotten.

i just got a new bike and when i move to georgia i plan on commuting in the heart of the southern suv beast.

i am also into cycling. zipping along the streets on my bike is one of life's great pleasures.

ian: steelisreal: I'm shooting for about 50lbs myself.

nice! I need one so I can zoom by all the poor people waiting in traffic. :)

paula: 29th Nov 2005 - 07:18 GMT

Haha - I took pictures of these same concrete boobies, complete with smog, while on the freeway... I will have to upload my pics from this week/weekend to my flickr set...

Sandra: Wish you luck! google team.
