synchronism: we have those same parking meters in nyc.

Jamie: and they're probably made in taiwan

Jamie: 19th Apr 2005 - 09:25 GMT

oh, how i miss my cmeha 35, and the days of old. Tenaciously peppering the streets of Northern Ireland with a tirade of weatherproof thermo-printed citynoise stickers. 2002 was a mixed blessing.

Re: handprints on a post box. the most ethereal printmaking.. nicely captured, and worth getting down. Sometimes things like that don't photograph so well, or it just doesn't seem possible. I didn't redecorate a room for a long time because I had become attached to dirt on the wall where the bookshelves had been for years. Not particularly photogenic, or even translatable to other people... but the hands are

jamie, remember this? there is an entry here somewhere of the jamazon/citynoise stickers that got plastered all over nyc busses anad payphones, but i cant find the entry at the moment... also: i used to like your b/w toycam photos... still got that cam?

Jamie: 19th Apr 2005 - 13:31 GMT

Totally, i still have a whole bunch of the "All Your City" stickers you mailed me way back in the day. All your Lincolnshire are belong to us! Mwuuuhaaa haa haa! That crazy toycam was a lot of fun, i don't know what happened to it.

elaine: 19th Apr 2005 - 14:44 GMT

stickers are a lost art aren't they? bring back stickers I say, in general. the word 'toycam' is very exciting I'm guessing it is a language hack? two great things, toys and cams in one great package - next thing you'll tell me you film things with it and they come out as cartoons

heard a funny thing bout sitkers in NYC

something bout the city council passin a law/bill that stated any sitcker or paste up with identifible info on it could be used against you in a court of law...

the best part was the bit that an artist (fi5e) immediately went an made stickers of all the council members, combined with their personal info, an posted them all over their representative districts.

any of yall NYC'ers see those?

Joseph: Hi, you have great site! Thank you!

Mark: Hi, you have very good site! Thank you!

jfilip: 25th Aug 2006 - 02:25 GMT

The parking ticket machine in the second photo is nearly exactly the same as the machines in Toronto's public parking lots. Same interface widgets at least. Must get them from the same manufacturer (which isn't terribly surprising) just nice to see, you know?

Albert: Hi, great site!

Sally: We have those meters in Syracuse, NY too!

Joseph: Very nice.

Joseph: Nice opinion, I would do the same.

JoeDoe: I'd do the same.

JoeDoe: Really cool.
