Linkovich: Yay, this is my train, go go 7!

jack: 3rd Nov 2005 - 03:31 GMT

i think the 7 train went to kew gardens, if so i took it for quite awhile when i would drive to kew gardens from long island and hunt for a spot to park and then run for the train to the wtc. i would walk from chambers st thru the lobby of both towers, get breakfast and a coffee and look in the stores on the mezzanine and then listen to the piano man playing at the bank before i would take the small excalater to liberty st. it was usually between 8:40 am and 9:00 am that i left the towers to go to work at 130 cedar street.

Ugly, Heritage, or Both?

What is it about Canada and our passion to declare ugly industrial buildings Heritage or Historical sites? This huge derelict is the last remaining building, which was part of the Collingwood Shipyards. The shipyards last ship built in these yards...
