Sunrise in Brooklyn

Looking almost due east on Park Place, watching the sun rise over Prospect Heights, Brooklyn. These are lo-fi cameraphone photos, but it really did look that fiery. Quite a welcome change from all the rain we've had recently, and the nor'easter This article has been viewed 2621 times in the last 3 years jack: 28th Oct 2005 - 20:35 GMTthe shorter days in brooklyn at evening time are beautiful. i always thought of myself as a child of the evening. i loved that time of evening, with the long shadows, i had to be in my house by the time the sun went down or my mother would go looking for me so i waited until the last ray of light hit the sky before i ran into her loving arms to be held by my mom who had made chocolate chip cookies for me. her arms were warm and the cookies also.
