picture one- jeez. who would want to live there?
beware; benjamin franklin may have urinated in this alley.
nice gritty photo. the bowels of an early american city. do you konw? what are the street names at this interscetion?

jeeff: 24th Sep 2005 - 06:38 GMT

in photo #4, those heads with the cross for a face were drawn in chalk around queen st. west in toronto about 5 years ago before the area got totally gentrified. i never saw them stencilled tho. the drawings were quite big and i always wondered what they meant... what is the text below? any insight?

vz: 28th Sep 2005 - 12:44 GMT

the street running across #1 is cherry street, on the block between 10th and 11th, and i don't know if the alleyway has a name, certainly not a street sign... although it leads to about a third of a block-length of quarry street, which terminates and briefly runs again a few blocks to the west.

the text in #4 is "27U1 () is not equal to V/Xlambda" under all the robots and "AREANATTE?" under the girl.

who is areanatte? presumably, not a robot. or perhaps, a new and more advanced kind of robot, one that has a human-like form and some approximation of human-like individuality.
