awesome entry, dude!

i love that last photo too- wow...

jeeff: 13th Sep 2005 - 15:35 GMT

i've always wanted to be able to decode all those numbers & things you see on telephone poles.

fuzzytank: 13th Sep 2005 - 16:16 GMT

agree, hard to figure out what they are getting at.

I also couldnt decide if it was the owner of the truck telling vandals he was watching or the other way around

wd_39: 13th Sep 2005 - 18:45 GMT

That's a nice Magnum in the last photo. I might have to go pick it up.

quen: 13th Sep 2005 - 20:56 GMT

Around here they have numbers on lamp posts, which I was able to decode; there's a two-letter code defining the grid square within the city (e.g. WH within the Walton Hall grid square, although it's not always quite that obvious), then another number presumably defining the 'run' of lights, then another number for the individual one. That's a lot less complicated than the system in the pic above, though. (I like that one, btw. And the last pic, which is best imo; great blue colour.)

jeeff: 13th Sep 2005 - 21:28 GMT

yeah i bet if you got a good handle on that naming system it'd be impossible to ever get lost again.

ea: 13th Sep 2005 - 23:59 GMT

that's no fun. bet we wouldn't have most of ft.s photos that way either

robert: 14th Sep 2005 - 01:24 GMT

hey cool! i'm from seattle. it's funny, even the "rough" ends of seattle are like...nice compared to most other cities.
