along my new home up N Williams I pass holding out against odds, a tagged house by an empty lot, community material salvage efforts and ethnic murals hiding behind forgotten neighborhood gardens. the most beautiful part is the potential, and there are trendy post modern entrepreneurializations sprouting new roots down under dusty sidewalks.

at first it didn't feel like home.
but that somehow changed when I emerged from my grumpy transit gloom to walk the streets, flow over their nuances with my thin treads. potential is the best kind of beauty, everything else has been played.

yeah, i love series like this... these sorts of glimpses are amongst my favorite content on this site... the postcard-style images are cool, but i always enjoy seeing the day-to-day stuff... the real vibe of a city, the real locales that get immortalized here after being overlooked by zillions of passersby. these are good!

Jamie: i like the pasteups in the second one
