That graf is crap tho, im sure thers better art out there! Jamie: 6th Sep 2005 - 11:03 GMTThis is my favourite photo. It has a certain duality which i like, but i don't know why.
Peter: 6th Sep 2005 - 14:38 GMTnice! i like that you always stick some graf in your posts. ahh, a person after my own heart. also: i agree that the quality of these photos is great- perhaps its the lighting. good stuff. also: the airplane wing photo! :D elaine: 6th Sep 2005 - 21:27 GMTyeah, i like that one as well jamie, while mirrory buildings reflecting other mirrory buildings has a pleasing swimmingpool feel, it can get overwhelming if that's all there is, this has a weird cut and paste feel about it, it almost looks like the gothy building is inside the glass building - like a massive damian hirst or something fuzzytank: 7th Sep 2005 - 03:38 GMTboth buildings appear in those pesky architectural history books they want me to buy each school year H. H. Richardsons Trinity Church (1873-7) is reflected in the glass of the John Hancock tower (not to be confused with the one in chicago) en.wikipedia.org/wiki/H._H._Richardson an about the graf... the group was not with me on heading down the alleys to find it but mabe somebody else can help it out on here. that or the user was sloshed ;)
fuzzytank: 7th Sep 2005 - 05:40 GMTpublic art... but the bigger attraction is to try to run up them and grab the top, its about impossible but i bet with some rock climbin shoes it would work unfortunatelly we didnt have those an i think i bruised my tailbone Peter: 7th Sep 2005 - 14:04 GMTthe little cement light thingers at the bottom of the first photo remind me of the robot from "black hole" for some reason...
elaine: 7th Sep 2005 - 14:11 GMTthe thingies in the top one look like laptops from land of the giants elaine: 7th Sep 2005 - 14:13 GMTha, peter, that is a cute little bot, and now it makes me want the cylinder things on the pic jamie picked out to be robots come in search of worshipping a robotbuilding... i think i am sickening for something... fuzzytank: 8th Sep 2005 - 06:27 GMToh and as for the plane wing shots heres to a soft touch down in back to seattle
Dutchman: 22nd Oct 2005 - 15:41 GMTI like the fourth picture. It reflects passed and combines it with future. Nice ;) Comment on this article..[previous] :: [next] |
