Pina Grocery, where you can get 2 eggs any stile, "party sausage" and "grill & cheese"... This article has been viewed 2670 times in the last 3 years Peter: 23rd Aug 2005 - 15:36 GMTi suppose so! thoguh, i gotta give em their props... their cooking area and griddle is most definitely the newest and cleanest in the neighborhood, so if i was to want an egg sandwich, id definitely go there... heh. stillseeingred: 23rd Aug 2005 - 15:37 GMTnothing like a party sausage to get me going in the morning!
Editor:: 23rd Aug 2005 - 16:05 GMThey stillseeingred... someone contacted me trying to reach you to see about reprinting rights on one of your photos. email me at editors at citynoise dot org and ill pass it on to you :) jack: 23rd Aug 2005 - 16:25 GMTcan i get a scrambled egg there? check out the boar's head sandwich. do they take out the teeth and the hair in the nose of the head before they put it in between two slices of bread? can you open your mouth that far to even bite into it? and besides, who would eat a boar's head? is this is the most times i've used question marks? Peter: 23rd Aug 2005 - 16:33 GMThahahahaha, jack! www.boarshead.com and im sure any stile would include scrambled, yes? i, myself, am curious as to whether i can get em poached there... its hard to find good poached eggs these days unless you do it at home... Deshant: 23rd Aug 2005 - 18:58 GMTso 'stilo' is spanish for 'style' I get that one. grilled cheese is frequently pronounced 'grill cheese'. I'll even let the party = patty thing slide. but who are these disreputable signmakers who let everything go to press mispeled? JJ: 23rd Aug 2005 - 22:36 GMT
Jamie: 14th Oct 2005 - 13:46 GMTI was in a pizza and kebab shop called pizza hot (geddit?) in Sleaford, Lincolnshire last night. Long story. But the menu board on the wall had the following sections. The last of which i found quite amusing. Pizza, Kebabs, Burgers, Chicken & Fish! Peter: 14th Oct 2005 - 13:55 GMTim imaginging a pizza with kebabbys, burgers, chicken AND fish all on it. my stomach is a-tremblin'... Danny: 29th Dec 2005 - 18:45 GMTgreat photo... i can't understand how it became a sign...i just cant. jamie: 1st Aug 2006 - 21:34 GMTthing is they're not technically spelling mistakes, so a spell checker wouldn't pick them up unless it was really hot on grammar. The sign writer has obviously relied on his copy of m$ word to correct his terrible spelling. Only problem is that computerised spell checkers assume the user has a least a basic grasp of the language in question. Catherine Penfold-Waxman: 1st Aug 2006 - 21:51 GMTI had a party sausage once, before I was married.
HUMBERSIDE: 18th Jul 2008 - 16:55 GMTThe Humberside Pizza Hot is much better than the Sleaford Pizza Hot! Comment on this article..[previous] :: [next] |
