Peter: what a cutie! whats his name?

GGP: Sencha, like the green tea.

elaine: heeheeheeheeheeheee! he's a cutie

elaine : 17th Aug 2005 - 09:09 GMT

if i was there i would have to hum to him and say tinytinytinytinytiny in a squeeky voice, and 'is tiny puppy good boy, is he? is he? is he?' enthusiastically, to make him do that thing where they turn their head and cock their ear up. it would probly be annoying for any humans, but i sure talk good puppy

I'm working on lots of silly little songs to sing him, including a revised take on a traditional song covered by the Knitters (my current musical obsession) which in the original goes like this:

Give me my flowers while I'm living
Let me enjoy them while I can
Please don't wait till I'm ready to be buried
And then slip some lilies in my hand"

My ver:

"Bring me my boxers while I'm living
Let me enjoy them while I can
Please don't wait until I'm ready to be dogchow
And then slip some puppies in my hand!"

it is sooo hard to keep an active puppy in focus! what a cutie though. my puppy is just over a year now and i wish she still had that cute little look!

just listening to the knitters - a cautionary tale for your pup could be 'poor little critter on the road' when teaching road safety...
