moving pictures from the distopian future. is there a wall washing train to keep the walls sparkling clean for all time?

Peter: SWEET! im such a sucker for blurry train photos!

GGP: 29th Jul 2005 - 14:19 GMT

it's a cool way to play because out of 50 shots there is maybe 1 good one. I like not knowing until I get home whether, and how, I hit the jackpot. the lack of control is healthy and fun.

Peter: god bless the digital camera!

Peter: also: i love that last shot...

GGP: 29th Jul 2005 - 15:07 GMT

thanks. that last shot felt like the jewel--a very pleasant surprise!

Mochalocks: I love the effect of the pictures...nice..

GGP, this one is from a similar photo jaunt i did yesterday. the only ones that were good were these of charlie - touch of the francis bacons i think

GGP: Absolut Baconesque!

elaine: 29th Jul 2005 - 16:04 GMT

motion blur is good. at full res the charlie pix are absolutely painterly. and so good to just be able to dump all the stuff that didn't work

GGP: e/motion blur is good, too, and these do that.

elaine: 29th Jul 2005 - 17:00 GMT

happy coincidence our camera technology has a poetic bent

joey: 26th Aug 2006 - 00:16 GMT

over one year later, and it still holds up. a test for digital pictorial culture of the early 21st century.

people walked between trees. a tractor contemplates its place in nature. this tag is 22 years old. it's about sixty feet high. it can be just just barely in the last photo. i think i may be ripping...
