'This notice is for your own safety' doesn't necessarily mean that it will make me feel (or actually be)any safer! Especially if I run (i do often run when I am in a rush travelling to get the train, who doesn't?) carry a rucksack (I do daily, who doesn't?), wear a big coat (I do often, just not in the summer time... who doesn't wear the coat on a cold day?) or look a bit foreign (I am foreign, as many of us are). Though I am Russian so maybe not having the darker skin might keep me from getting shot in the head! the horrors! :-(

d'you know, the thing is as well it seems that the guy was actually wearing a jeans jacket and used the ticket barrier with a travelcard, rather than jumped over it... ahem! just a bit of a total scandal

here in nyc, "anxiousness" is another one of the "tell-tale" signs that you might be a terrorist, ha... the cops have been instructed to search anyone who looks suspicious (despite our constitutional guarantee that decrees all americans will be free of search/seizure without just cause... so many are up in arms about the alienation of this right)... and "suspicious" is defined as having clammy/shaky hands or balled-up fists, sweating, praying/muttering/chanting, thick layered clothing, large bags, etc.

...that could practically be anyone in nyc.

yeah, if that's a photoshop i don't see how the medium takes away from the message any.
