heh, nice! its good to see some posts from saugerties here!

vz: 12th Jul 2005 - 22:31 GMT

is saugerties a well-known place that i'm just the last person to know about?

Peter: 13th Jul 2005 - 13:43 GMT

i had never heard of it til i moved to nyc... look, saugerties has a website! saugerties.ny.us

Macavity: 27th Jul 2005 - 23:11 GMT

It's only well-known if you live in New York (it's best known in Ulster County, as that's where it is).

To people from out-of-state, though, the usual response is "Where?"

Peter: 27th Jul 2005 - 23:12 GMT

the word saugerties sounds like the word sausages a little bit. thats why i think of em whenever i hear someone say saugerties.

elaine: 27th Jul 2005 - 23:50 GMT

i had sausages for my tea. and turkish aubergene and mozzarella and tomato and brown sauce and avocado. it was a special i call 'what i have got in the fridge'

Peter: 27th Jul 2005 - 23:51 GMT

i love having that dinner. i like taking all the tiny bits of leftovers i have and puttingem all into all sorts of different bowls and eating them like you would samples at the grocery, or a tiny picnic.

elaine: 27th Jul 2005 - 23:57 GMT

different every time... though within a limited palette of what i like and what the shop downstairs sells. i like the image of the 'tiny picnic' it makes me think you are sharing with pixies
