The King Was Correct

So I'm at this site and I see that this kid is writing about
being made fun of. And I thought to myself.. and wrote:

People will make fun of you or worse because they see
something in you that causes them to see something in
themselves that make them feel uncomfortable. In other words
people, all people, have evoked awarenesses of themselves
when they experience other people. Often times people have
not learned that one of the golden rules is to continuously
learn about yourself. This is what meditation and all good
spirtitual art is about - continuously learning about the
self.

When someone makes fun of you, even though it is "wrong," it
is a very significant opportunity. This is, in part, because
we all have expectations that are very complex and subtle.
Just as with the source of poetry these are originally
experiences in our minds that are not in spoken or written
laugauge but, instead, are in "the langauge of feelings."
So listen to yourself by noting your experience. This means
practice listening to your experience by noting what you
can, noting what "comes to mind." When you do this you will
see that too much information is passing by to verbally
note. As this happens note that too much is going by to note
and continue to note experience. Note anything: "this is
silly"; "I am afraid"; "I want peace"; "I am embarrassed";
"there is too much going by to verbally note; "I have this
sensation" etc, etc. If you are focused and have some faith
you will see that the mind "jumps over" into strongly
conversing with itself in the "langauge of feelings." With a
little practice you do this at anytime; while you are having
conversations, while you are walking through the world,
while someone is making fun of you. Buddists call this
Vipassana meditation, its complement is another form of
medation called Shamatha meditation - look it up. Usually
Shamatha is practiced first but it OK to do Vipassana first
- you will find Shamatha as well. In my opinion many other
religions teach the same thing in other forms, by other
names.

You will find that part of what you note are your wishes,
that is your prayers. These are very important and they can
help bring about good. As you get to know yourself much
better you can act as a catalyst for good change, bringing
those who try to hurt to good change. Be balanced and wise
even with those who seem to try to hurt you. Stay focused on
good.

"Blessed are the peacemakers .." Jesus

Another note is that, to me, all you folks at this site are
wonderful and your hopes for good are truly the hope for the
world; even if this seems, that is appears, to happen in
small ways. Keep up the excellent work.

(Signed)

Mystical Witness...: 29th Jul 2005 - 23:23 GMT

The basis of an individual's existence is governed by self-dertermination. The distinction which is made to those who fail & refuse to fall through the cracks of an industrialized society is based primarily in the construction of self in relation to others.

From my experience, as limited as it is, I have found the dynamics built around "gangs" and or in essence ethnic orientation is shame. It is important to find ones identity, character, heritage, race, nationality, etc. It is just as important to experience the variables which in turn reflect upon us, as human beings, the very means it is that we in turn relate or co-relate with one another.

The very circumstances by which one or many, can construe for themselves, as coming from a "group" dichotomy, is based upon the nature of embracing thier history, and often this is found by embracing the tradegies their people(s) have had to encompass.

Unfortunately, the diamonds in the ashes which are found, are very rare. The very means, by which people or human beings choose to self-preserve, are often those of free-will or of choice.

I find today that our youth are focused to find self-dertermination through the pressures to conform to group dynamics, rather than an individual one. Today's pressure on children is great & wide. It is of great importance for the safety & preservation of humanity to give children the proper opportunities to know they can stand on their own. That they as individuals can create their own thoughts & ideas. That they can as individuals form their own opinions that are against the wave of what generations have come before them and created as a whole. The nature, the very nature of a child is in its very fine innocence. This above all else must be honored and respected. The children inherit the World, as it has been left for them, this is true. But its beliefs & ideologies can be left behind. This can be accomplished by giving the child in the home, the attention it needs to grow and expand as it matures in the World it has inherited.
Don't let the guise of a color of one's skin, the guise of one's history; of belonging to a particular race delineate how it is we as human beings should relate and inter-relate with one another. Underneath the surface we are all the same. It is a defilement to teach a child any different. To look through the eye of a child is to see with an angelic & pure heart. This essence exists in all human beings...Treasure & learn to accept the differences of one another. Treasure & learn to find enough self-acceptance to except the hatred from those amongst us who have been conformed to greed and hatred. Look upon the tragedies of the World w/tolerance and with acceptance.
As we as children, need the attention we crave from one another as human beings. Our actions, no matter how low or how high need to be acknowledged with an open heart. It always starts with the child you have inside yourself. Learn to listen to your inner thoughts. Pay attention to what prompts you to feel the way you do in relation to what upsets you. Unravel yourself and you will unravel the World. Unravel the World and you will unravel the Universe. You will see, it corresponds to what you believe. If you want peace in your world, you have to be at peace with yourself and in turn give peace. Reach out to one another. Give love and you will recieve love. Condemn the actions another with bitter hatred you will be opening yourself to channels of hatred and negativity! Condemn the actions of a child who needs you to love him or her and you will send that child into adult life with the need and the neccesity to continue to call out for it to be loved as a child.

Come to accept that which you do not understand in your World and in your Life. Come to accept that which is bigger that you are. Help one another take out the specks which we have in our eyes and we will all see clearly the potentials of living in a free, peace loving World!!

A craftsman pulled a reed from the reedbed,
cut holes in it, and called it a human being.

Since then, it's been wailing a tender agony
of parting, never mentioning the skill
that gave it life as a flute.

Humble living does not diminish. It fills.
Going back to a simpler self gives wisdom.

When a man makes up a story for a his child,
he becomes a father and a child
together, listening.

The Pearls in the Ocean
were created-

For the swine in the breeze,
for which they were blinded
and crushed them to dust...

Reading your comments and looking at the photos.....(sigh) I wish we had more role models like Gahndi...Its sad when kids have "role models" thrown in their face that warp and distort what we should really value in this world...All the good one are gone
