what is the point of this photo? anyone could take this. this sign is hardly different from any other sign in the new york city subway system. i just don't get it. make a better effort next time to actually post something creative. come on!

Ballsack, I think you have rushed to criticise a photo that I really enjoyed. Being from the UK, I enjoy this exploration of the urban environment through it's contrast with the signs I see all around me all the time in England. True anyone could take this, but I can't right now.

I agree. I really enjoyed all the photos of nyc an the only criticism i could level is that they should've been consolidated into just a couple of posts. A bit of background info never goes a miss either but posting photos on their own is totally ok too. I would've just grouped a lot of these photos together that's all. but great photos an thats part of what this site is all about.

This sign is different from almost any signs you'll see in the subway today. They switched from black on white to white on black over twenty years ago.

jack: 12th Feb 2008 - 04:07 GMT

anyone who has rode the subway remembers this sign, i took the n train which is the old seabeach express into brooklyn to kings highway. many, many years ago.

This statue is in an antique shop in my neighborhood and was apparently in some movie. The owner of the shop has it on the roof now so when I go up to the conner there is Leningard staring down...
