kobe: that water is really blue for an urban seafront!

Ron Kelpsas: 8th May 2005 - 22:23 GMT

Do you know what it costs the city to put tidy bowl in the water everyday? What do you think that Blue Gets ther by itself... Don't believe all that malarky about it being a reflection of sky above!

chino: No doubt. We're a pretty grimmy city.

when i see the blue its like my soul and when i look at the town it remind me of 9/11

one of the nicest things about chicago, in my opinion, is how the lake looks almost like the caribbean on nice days. i am from cleveland (which is wonderful in its own ways), where lake erie is very greygreen most of the time.

colavitos ghost: 20th Nov 2006 - 19:15 GMT

i always have wondered why lake michigan in chicago is so much more blue than lake erie is in cleveland. perhaps cleveland's lakefront is a bit more polluted, but the difference in color is really remarkable. i wonder if it has anything to do with the respective depths of the lakes? or something else?

Fighting or Frolicking?

There is this park at UBC here in Vancouver that has always boggled my mind. It resembles something like a pit for fighting, but it's set in a peaceful, suburban/university area and it's lined with daisies and picnic tables....
