This is my hometown.
Sure, I saw it, first
from a naive cherished
image; its as raw as the
rest of the city to my
more mature eyes now.

To a stranger, its all
similitudes. The dingy-dank
of my downtown Broadway
could, to them, lead right
up the silver strip of
5th Avenue.

Kudos for kindred spirits
and real images; the things
of dreams and the hearts
of lives lived out.
