Reflection: Canalside Gasworks
[previous] :: [next]London E2 UK As usual, staring like a Morrisey fan at the gasworks. i like how these look like a charcoal drawing, only probably better than if i had actually done a charcoal drawing, which is good, because that would have taken a long time, so i would have wanted to be VERY pleased with the result. as it is, these took seconds, albeit after years of the staring.

elaine: 29th Apr 2005 - 16:14 GMTbetter than burned up cars, peter? no? ok. well. but this is the good thing about the digital doo da, i could see i was going to get what i wanted out of it straight away. Jamie: 1st May 2005 - 22:35 GMTyes, i much prefer digital now to the blind process of chemical photography. pretty picture here by the way. elaine: 2nd May 2005 - 07:46 GMTta, mate. yeah, the transparency of digital is just perfect for my mindset. i also like photocopying, drawing, collage, anything whatyouseeiswhatyouget - i also cook like that, and have small nervous breakdowns just before things are ready because i don't trust the cooking. i would neverbe able to make cakes. GGP: 9th Aug 2005 - 20:12 GMTthese images look like cakes, or cake-abstractions in a robot-hungry universe.
